ATAC Awarded Fleet Fighter Jet Services Contract for Up to $555M in Air Services Over Five Years for U.S. Navy and Marine Corps   New Port News, VA - Sept., 16, 2025 - Airborne Tactical Advantage Company (ATAC), part of the Textron Systems segment of Textron Inc. Contract Positions ATAC to Enhance Global F-35 Program Support Newport News, Va. — Sept. 8, 2025 — Airborne Tactical Advantage Company (ATAC), part of the Textron Systems segment of Textron Inc. (NYSE:TXT), announced today that it has been awarded a five-year contract by the U.S. Marine Corps (USMC), valued at up to $198M, to support adversary air (ADAIR) flight services for the USMC’s F-35 flight training on the East coast.  ATAC’s ADAIR flight services, awarded under the Combat Air Force Combat Air Support II Multiple-Award Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract, will provide valuable support for F-35 training on the East coast with flights to be conducted from Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) Cherry Point in North Carolina and MCAS Beaufort in South Carolina. The new award supports USMC training from 2025-2030. The USMC has long been a major ATAC customer through their participation in Fighter Jet Services (FJS) and Terminal Attack Controller Trainer

ATAC received an initial task order to provide chase flight support services for F-16 aircraft to the Defense Contract Management Agency. The potential period of performance is up to 27 months, including base and option years with a potential total contract value of $7.82 million.

Newport News, VA – August 10, 2022 —  Airborne Tactical Advantage Company (ATAC), part of the Textron Systems segment of Textron Inc. (NYSE: TXT), announced today that it has been awarded a five-year indefinite delivery indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract by the U.S. Navy to provide chase flight services for the F-35 program.   ATAC will provide three Mirage F1 aircraft for approximately 600 flight hours per year from Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base (NAS JRB) in Fort Worth, Texas. Flight operations are expected to commence late in 2022 or in early 2023.  ATAC crews will support new F-35 aircraft during their first flights, along with product assurance flights. Mirage F1s will be used to fly specific profiles and provide airspace clearance and aircraft systems checks.
