Newport News, VA — February 7, 2024 — Airborne Tactical Advantage Company (ATAC), part of the Textron Systems segment of Textron Inc (NYSE:TXT), announced today that it has been awarded the 2023 Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) William “Bill” O’Brien Diamond Award of Excellence. The award recognizes exemplary dedication to the advancement of aviation safety and a commitment to continuous training within the company.

ATAC Awarded F-35 Chase Flight Services Contract
Newport News, VA – August 10, 2022 —  Airborne Tactical Advantage Company (ATAC), part of the Textron Systems segment of Textron Inc. (NYSE: TXT), announced today that it has been awarded a five-year indefinite delivery indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract by the U.S. Navy to provide chase flight services for the F-35 program.   ATAC will provide three Mirage F1 aircraft for approximately 600 flight hours per year from Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base (NAS JRB) in Fort Worth, Texas. Flight operations are expected to commence late in 2022 or in early 2023.  ATAC crews will support new F-35 aircraft during their first flights, along with product assurance flights. Mirage F1s will be used to fly specific profiles and provide airspace clearance and aircraft systems checks. ATAC is the global leader of tactical airborne training and has previous experience conducting F-35 chase services, having successfully performed missions in 2019 and 2020 from the ATAC Adversary

Airborne Tactical Advantage Company (ATAC) to Deliver up to $441 Million in Contracted Air Services to the U.S. Navy
Newport News, VA — November 9, 2020 — Airborne Tactical AdvantageCompany (ATAC), part of the Textron Systems segment of Textron Inc (NYSE: TXT), announced today that it has been selected to continue to provide the U.S. Navy and U.S. Marine Corps with fleet fighter jet training support services under the Fighter Jet Services (FJS) program. ATAC will provide up to 8,500 flight hours per year of fleet support air training services for approximately 5 years under the indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract worth up to $441 million. Airborne Tactical Advantage Company (ATAC) to Support Eglin Air Force Base with Contracted Adversary Air Training

Newport News, VA — September 29, 2020 —  Airborne Tactical Advantage Company LLC (ATAC), part of the Textron Systems segment of Textron Inc (NYSE: TXT), announced today that it has been selected to provide Eglin Air Force Base with adversary air live training under the Combat Air Forces (CAF) Contracted Air Support (CAS) program. Under the award, worth up to $92 million, ATAC will provide adversary air live training to F-22 and F-35 pilots at Eglin Air Force Base, Florida.  The award provides for over 1,100 sorties per year for up to 4.5 years, which will be provided by ATAC’s fleet of Mirage F1 fighter aircraft and is expected to commence by January 2021. Airborne Tactical Advantage Company (ATAC) to Deliver JTAC Training to Air Force Special Operators

Washington, DC — August 13, 2020 — Airborne Tactical Advantage Company (ATAC), part of the Textron Systems segment of Textron Inc (NYSE: TXT), announced today that it has been selected to provide live contract close air support (CCAS) training for Joint Terminal Air Controllers (JTACs) under the U.S. Air Force’s Combat Air Forces Contracted Air Support program. A team flying ATAC’s L-39 Albatros and Valkyrie Aero’s A-27 Tucano aircraft will support Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC) JTAC training at numerous bases and locations throughout the continental United States. The contract calls for approximately 900 sorties and more than 1,100 flight hours on tactical ranges annually, with flight operations commencing in the summer of 2020. This is the first CCAS award the Air Force will grant the contracted air services industry for what could be up to 10 locations under the Combat Air Forces Contracted Air Support program. Newport News, VA — July 27, 2020 —  Airborne Tactical Advantage Company (ATAC), part of the Textron Systems segment of Textron Inc (NYSE: TXT), announced today that it has been selected to provide two U.S. Air Force bases with adversary air live training under the Combat Air Forces (CAF) Contracted Air Support (CAS) program. Under the awards, worth up to a combined $240 million, ATAC will provide adversary air live training to pilots at Luke Air Force Base, Arizona, and Holloman Air Force Base, New Mexico.  The combined awards provide for over 3,000 sorties per year for up to 4.5 years, which will be provided by ATAC's fleet of Mirage F1 fighter aircraft and are expected to commence by Fall 2020.
